0.0: Begin at the preserve entrance on Morgan Drive.
0.1: Signed junction at cattle gate. Continue uphill, on Grayfox Trail.
0.2: Fire road leaves preserve on the left. Continue straight on Grayfox Trail.
0.3: Signed junction. Bear right onto Stream View Trail.
0.5: Signed junction with hiking-only path. Continue straight.
1.2: Unsigned junction. Turn left onto Red Trail Hawk Trail.
1.4: Signed junction. Turn left onto Grayfox Trail.
1.8: Junction, again, with Stream View Trail. Continue straight on Grayfox Trail, and retrace your steps back to the trailhead.
2.1: Back at the trailhead.

Getting there:
From I 680 in Contra Costa County, exit Bollinger Canyon Road (exit 34). Turn west onto Bollinger Canyon Road, and almost immediately turn south (left) on San Ramon Valley Boulevard. Drive south about 0.7 mile, then turn right onto Morgan Drive. Drive on Morgan about 0.2 mile, to the signed trailhead on the left side of the road.
