Mile:
0.0: Start at the trailhead and walk uphill on the wide dirt trail.
0.4: Crest and junction. Turn right onto the paved road, following the signpost pointing to "NORTH THRD."
1.1: Stay to the left as the paved trail splits.
1.2: Paved trail ends at north trailhead gate. Take the first trail to the left, uphill.
1.4: Crest and junction. Continue straight into a valley.
1.5: A fire road feeds in from the left. Continue straight.
1.6: Junction with Rock Gardens Trail. Bear right.
1.9: Unsigned junction just before a picnic table. Bear right, then look to the left for a signed multi-trail junction. Turn left.
1.9: Undersigned junction. Take the second right onto Arch Trail, a narrow footpath.
2.1: Steep shortcut heads uphill to the left. Continue straight.
2.4: Just before a major junction, a narrow path veers uphill to the left. Turn left onto Mystic Ridge Trail.
2.6: Unsigned spur feeds in from the right. Continue straight.
2.7: Unsigned path breaks off on the left. Continue to the right.
2.8: Trail splits. Either fork is an option, but stay to the left.
2.9: Trail ends at a fire road. Turn left.
3.0: Previously encountered junction. Turn right.
3.1: Unsigned junction. Continue straight.
3.2: Junction. Turn right.
3.3: Other trail sweeps right. Continue to the left.
3.4: Previously encountered junction, with the paved fire road. Turn right, walk a few steps to a familiar junction, then turn left, (signed with an arrow and "ROCKVILLE TRHD") and retrace your steps back to the trailhead.
3.8: Back at the parking lot.

Getting there:
From I 80 in Solano County, exit Suisun Valley Road (ezit 41, just before you get to Fairfield). At the foot of the ramp, turn north onto Suisun Valley Road. Drive about 1.5 miles on Suisun Valley Road, then turn left onto Rockville Road at the traffic light. Drive about 0.7 mile, and turn left into the parking lot.
