0.0: Begin on an unmarked path at the edge of the parking lot, near a cluster of eucalyptus trees.
0.1: Near the edge of parking lot 3, the trail sweeps left.
0.1: Junction. Bear left onto Lookout Trail.
0.3: Junction. Bear left, toward Lookout Point.
0.6: End of the trail and lookout. Retrace your steps back to the previous junction, then turn left.
0.9: Junction. Continue straight.
1.3: Junction. Bear straight/left, onto North Orchard Trail.
1.4: Junction. Turn right onto South Orchard Trail.
1.4: Two quick junctions. Continue straight, then bear right onto Creek Trail.
1.5: Junction near a bridge. Bear right, cross the bridge, then turn right to continue on Creek Trail.
1.6: Multiple junctions. Take the second trail clockwise to the left.
1.8: Junction. Turn left.
1.8: Junction. Turn right.
1.9: Junction, again. Turn left and retrace your steps back to the trailhead.

Getting there:
From CA 85 in Santa Clara County, exit Saratoga Avenue. Drive southwest toward Saratoga about 1.7 miles, then turn left onto CA 9/Saratoga-Los Gatos Road. Drive about 0.5 mile, and turn right onto Montalvo. Continue about 0.7 mile, through a gate and into the park. There are 4 parking lots -- the featured hike begins at lot 4.
