0.0: Begin from side-of-the-road parking and carefully walk up Sir Francis Drake (toward the bridge). 0.05: Junction. Bear left. 0.7: End of White Hill Trail. Turn left onto Sherwood Forest Fire Road.
0.8: Junction. Turn right onto White Hill Fire Road.
1.0: Junction. Turn left onto Porcupine Trail.
1.35: Junction. Turn left onto White Hill Fire Road.
2.4: Junction. Turn left onto Blue Ridge Fire Road.
3.0: White Hill summit. Retrace your steps back to the trailhead. 6.0: Back at roadside parking.

Getting there:
From US 101 in Marin County, exit Sir Francis Drake/San Anselmo. Drive northwest on Sir Francis Drake about 6 miles, to Fairfax. Continue on Sir Francis Drake, and from the last Fairfax traffic light (at Oak Manor Drive), proceed about 1.6 miles. Look for a small parking pullout on the left (before the bridge). Continue on Sir Francis Drake about 1 mile to San Geronimo Valley Road, turn around, and return to the trailhead.
